Work Health and Safety

Clarence Landcare has two Work Health & Safety Officers, one Committee Representative and one Staff Representative. Our Work Health & Safety document is a guiding document for our organisation and for other Landcare Groups outside of our structure.

As of January 2012 the Work Health & Safety Act 2011 replaces the previous Occupational Health & Safety Act 2000

These new laws will provide greater consistency, certainty and clarity across Australia making it easier to understand your workplace health and safety duties.

Information on transitional arrangements as well as the key changes for industry, businesses, workers, directors and volunteers are available from the link to Workcover below.
