Benefits of being a Member of Clarence Landcare Inc
Being a part of our growing community group. The strength of Clarence Landcare Inc depends on the solid base of ‘grass roots’ membership. In order for us to have a strong voice as part of the regional and national Landcare network, we need the backing of those people on the ground managing the land. It is important we continually have a strong voice up the levels of government to ensure the support and funding filters back down to the ground to assist us in repairing and improving the land we rely upon.
Clarence Landcare membership runs from the 1st July through to June in each calendar year. Our membership fees consists of an initial joining fee of $10.00 (gst exclusive) plus an annual membership fee of $40.00 (gst exclusive).
Once you become a member you gain up to date and first hand information on Field Days, Workshops and training courses available. We often offer a discounted rate or even free for Landcare Members, so it pays to join!
Being a member of Clarence Landcare also entitles you to vote at meetings, so when important issues are being addressed you can make your vote count by being a paid member. The stronger our membership base is, the more backing and support we have for environmental issues in the Clarence Valley.
Clarence Landcare hold two general meetings during the year, where all members are invited, these meetings incorporate relevant speakers from the environmental sector so you can also gain a better understanding of whats been happening in the Clarence Catchment.
